Frankfurt Rhein Main Airport - FRA
The Frankfurt airport is located in the south of Frankfurt (15 KM) and the Alexander am Zoo is easy to reach by car or public transport:
Taxis are available 24 hours a day - at both terminals at the Frankfurt Rhein-Main airport. A one-way trip to or from Frankfurt city center costs approx. 30 € and takes between 20 and 30 minutes. Should you experience something unusual in a taxi just ask the driver for a receipt with his taxi number.
S-Bahn trains to the city center are departing regularly from the trainstation in the basement of Terminal 1. A one-way ticket costs about 3,50 € per person and the trip takes approx. 30 minutes.
Take S-Bahn No. 8 direction "Offenbach-Ost" or S-Bahn Nr. 9 direction "Hanau Hbf" until stop "Konstabler Wache". There you change to underground and take U 7 direction "Enkheim" for 2 stops (station "Habsburger Allee"). Leave the station at exit "Waldschmidtstrasse" and the Alexander am Zoo is only 2 blocks away.
Flughafen Frankfurt/Hahn - HHN
Hahn Airport is located south-west of Frankfurt between Mainz and Trier and transfer to Frankfurt is by bus.
There is a regular shuttle service between the airport and Frankfurt Main Station. A one-way trip costs about 13 € per person and takes approx. 1 hour and 45 minutes. It arrives at the main station Frankfurt - from there just take a taxi or the U-Bahn No. 4 to "Konstabler Wache" and change there to U7 direction "Enkheim" for 2 stops (station "Habsburger Allee"). Leave the station at exit "Waldschmidtstrasse" and the Alexander am Zoo is only 2 blocks away.
